Replaced a cracked brake disc on a CRJ-700, first solo job in 11 months
Last Tuesday at the hangar in Charlotte, I pulled a brake disc that had a hairline crack running almost the full circumference. It took me 3 hours to swap it out because some of the bolts were seized from heat, but getting it torqued right without anyone hovering over me felt huge. Has anyone dealt with those seized bolts on the older CRJ wheels without busting a knuckle?

Ever check if the caliper was dragging before you blamed those bolts?
