Glued up a maple panel with Titebond III and it cupped overnight

I mean, I followed the instructions and let it sit in my shop in Portland overnight, but it still warped maybe a quarter inch. Idk, maybe my moisture meter is off or the boards weren't fully acclimated. Has anyone else had this happen with that glue in a humid climate?

My uncle in Seattle had the same thing happen with some walnut last month. Feels like every wood glue ad promises no warping but real life humidity just laughs at that.
