I finally fixed a shutter that three other people gave up on
An old guy named Pete from a shop in Portland mailed me a Minolta SRT and said 'if you can't get it running, nobody can.' That one comment made me work until 2am three nights in a row to prove I could do it.

Not gonna lie, that kind of pressure usually kills creativity for me. I've had people tell me I was the only one who could fix something and it just made me overthink every little move. Glad it worked out for you, but I honestly think that kind of expectation would've made me mess it up worse.
