Got burned for $200 on a knockoff sweep kit off a truck website
Bought a cheap set of brushes and rods from some discount tool site and the rod snapped on the third pull, basically wasted my money and a whole afternoon wrestling with it, anyone else had luck with a specific brand that holds up better?

Snap another one off and you'll have a nice set of mini fire pokers for the grill I guess. But seriously, "heavy duty" on a discount site usually means it'll break on the third pull instead of the first. I stick with the name brand kits from the big box stores now, pay the extra $30 and save yourself the headache of chimney noodles going everywhere.
