The PSU orientation argument that keeps popping up in my shop
I had a guy last Tuesday insist his PSU fan should point upward to "help cool the GPU." I tried to explain hot air rises and most cases have a bottom intake for a reason, but he pulled up a Reddit thread from 2016 as proof. Has anyone else had customers argue outdated info from old forums?

Buddy of mine did the same test and his GPU temp dropped 4 degrees after flipping it.

Did you try showing him a thermal image or just let him run it his way? I had a guy convinced his layout was better until we tested it side by side and his GPU was actually running warmer...
