Changed my mind on wet curing after a foreman called me out
Used to think wet curing was overkill. Just spray it and move on, right? Worked a big slab in Phoenix last July and the foreman made me stop. He pointed at a corner where I skimped on the wet burlap. Said that spot would be dust in 3 years. I was pissed but I did it his way. Kept that slab wet for 7 full days. Came back 6 months later and that corner was still solid while another crew's job nearby was already cracking. Now I soak every slab proper. Anyone else have a specific job where they learned wet curing the hard way?

Man I used to be the same way, thought wet curing was for guys with too much time on their hands. But a foreman called me out on a hot job too and now I don't cut corners on it anymore. Your mileage may vary but that extra week of soaking has saved me from coming back to fix my own work later.
