Vent: Hit 500 yards of flatwork in a month and I'm beat
My crew just finished our 500th yard of sidewalk and driveway pours this month, which is a record for us. Thought I'd be proud, but all I feel is sore and tired from running the bull float nonstop. Anybody else hit a number that just made them stop and question this job?

Man that's brutal. 500 yards of flatwork in a month sounds like a whole lot of not sleeping right and drinking coffee just to function. We had a crew do a massive driveway pour last summer that went way longer than expected because the concrete showed up late and we were out there with the bull float until almost dark. Legit couldn't feel my arms the next day. Makes you wonder why we do this to ourselves sometimes.
