Spent $60 on a fancy hair steamer and it just made my clients frizzy
I bought that AquaSpa hair steamer last month for my salon station thinking it would be a game changer for deep conditioning treatments, but every client who used it ended up with frizzy roots and limp ends. After three sessions I realized it was just blasting hot mist into the hair cuticle without any real moisture lock in. Has anyone else had luck with steamers or are they more trouble than they are worth?

Lol I had that same steamer for my home hair stuff. Bought it off a TikTok ad where some girl with perfect curls swore by it. First use I looked like a poodle that got caught in the rain. Thing just sits in my closet now collecting dust next to my flat iron I never use either. My friend swears by putting a plastic shower cap on over steaming to trap the moisture in. I tried it once and just ended up with sweaty scalp and still frizzy ends. Not worth the cabinet space if you ask me.
