Went from a wheelchair ramp to a lift last year - night and day for my independence

My old ramp at the community center entrance took 2 minutes to push up every time, and I couldn't manage it alone when it rained. After they installed the lift in March, I can get in by myself in 15 seconds flat. Has anyone else seen their local spots swap out ramps for lifts?
