My old iPod Classic bricked itself at a wedding in Denver
Honestly, I was the DJ for my cousin's reception and my 2007 iPod Classic 80GB just froze on the playlist screen. I was in the back room of the venue and panicked for a second. I held down the Menu and Center buttons for like 10 seconds to force a reboot and it came right back, music intact. Has anyone else had a classic iPod freeze up at the worst possible time?

My 2005 iPod Mini locked up in the middle of a 12-hour road trip to Omaha. I was relying on a single playlist and it just died on the highway, nothing but static from the cassette adapter. I had to dig through a glove box full of old mix CDs for the rest of the drive. That was the moment I finally bought one of those FM transmitters, which honestly weren't much better. What's the oldest piece of tech you still try to use regularly?

Oh man, @troystone, that "glove box full of old mix CDs" is the realest thing. I still have a first gen iPod Shuffle I try to use sometimes. The battery is totally cooked though, so it's basically a weird keychain now.

Actually, the first Shuffle didn't have a screen.
