I used to spend 3 hours a week writing show notes, now a tool does it in 4 minutes
I host a small podcast out of my spare room in Akron and for about 2 years I typed summaries by hand every Sunday. Started feeding the audio into a transcription app in March and it spits out cleaner notes than I ever wrote, so now I just edit for 10 minutes. Anyone else find the rough draft version weirdly better than their own writing?

Changed my mind on this one completely. I was that person rolling my eyes at AI writing anything, swore my own words had a feel that a machine could never copy. Then I tried it on a whim for my woodworking channel and the rough draft it gave me was honestly sharper than what I'd been grinding out at midnight. I still rewrite stuff, add my own jokes and fix the parts where it sounds stiff, but the bones are solid. Takes me from a blank page to something in a few minutes instead of an hour of staring. Not saying it's magic, just that I was wrong about it being useless.
