The AI scheduling app I laughed at saved my crew from a 3 hour drive
Last month my foreman double-booked two crews across town in Austin, and I was ready to go back to paper. I tried this AI dispatching tool just to prove it was hype, but it rerouted everyone in under a minute and flagged the conflict before my morning coffee. Anyone else find these automation tools only work when you stop second guessing them?

Rerouting isn't really the same as dispatching though, since the app probably just swapped who goes where based on addresses. The real test is whether it handles a crew calling in sick at 6am or a job running long, and that's where most of these tools fall apart. Still, catching the double book before coffee is a win no matter how it did it.
