Three weeks chasing a flap fault that turned out to be a 40-cent relay in the wheel well

I swapped actuators, chased wiring diagrams, and even pulled the flap control unit twice, but it took a buddy from the night shift casually mentioning a corrosion issue on the relay pins to actually fix it, has anyone else burned days on something that ended up being this simple?
