Old brick building on Maple" got you that excited about wireless sensors? Lol it's just tech doing its job, not some magic fix. Brick walls are tough but that's a basic use case, not a life changing event. Sounds like you just hadn't run into a real world problem before.

Seriously? It's a sensor in a brick building, not a moon landing. People use wireless stuff in old factories and warehouses every single day. It just means the signal got through some thick walls this time. I'm not seeing the big deal here at all.
