Bought a $200 wireless alarm panel that glitched out after 3 days

Lost all my profit on that install because the panel wouldn't stop false alarming and the homeowner wanted me to fix it for free, has anyone else had that specific brand drop signal like that?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling when you lose money on a job like that. It really bugs me how some companies rush out products that clearly aren't tested properly. It's like a bigger pattern I see everywhere now - people just want to be the first to sell something, even if it's half-baked. You'd think for two hundred bucks it would at least work for a full week, you know? I've noticed the same thing with phone chargers and even kitchen gadgets lately, just stuff that fails way too fast. It makes me wonder if anyone actually quality checks things anymore or if they just hope we won't return them.

My buddy bought one of those fancy electric can openers last month, the kind that goes around the can by itself. It literally broke on the third can of beans he opened, just stopped spinning mid-way. He called customer service and they tried to sell him a warranty extension for a product that was already dead. I swear some of these companies act like they're doing you a favor by taking your money for junk that barely works. It's gotten to the point where I almost expect things to fail now, which is pretty sad.
