Analog gauges to digital, my old Fluke still wins

Been doing this 20 years. Last month a kid showed up with a fancy digital manifold and swore it was faster. I pulled out my old analog set, purged the lines, and had the charge dialed in before he even zeroed his screen. Maybe it's muscle memory, but have any of you switched back to analog for certain jobs?

My neighbor's digital gauge reads 72.4 degrees while my analog says 72, and somehow the system runs fine either way, so the fancy screen just gives him more numbers to argue about.
