Vent: one perfect pruning day in June, then a week of storm cleanup made me question everything

Had a 6-hour maple reduction go flawless on a Tuesday in Portland, then a microburst took down 14 pines near Beaverton and my whole week turned into climbing deadwood in 90 degree heat, so does anyone else find the calm days almost harder to trust than the chaos?
