Dropped $400 on that Fisher F2 for the creek behind my aunt's farm, found nothing but horseshoes
I bought a starter metal detector about 8 months ago to hunt the creek bed where an old mill used to sit near Fredericksburg, and all I've dug up is rusty nails and one 1943 penny. A guy at the local club says I should've gotten the F44 instead for the wet ground, but I'm not sure it's the machine or just me swinging too fast. Anyone here hunt creek beds and have tips on ground balancing, or did I just burn my money?
