The $15 mud mask I laughed at fixed my face in 2 weeks

My sister pushed this cheap green clay mask on me for months and I kept joking it was just colored dirt. Last month my skin was breaking out so bad I tried it out of pure spite. After 3 uses the redness went down and by day 10 the acne spots were basically gone. I thought fancy serums were the answer but this simple stuff did more than my $80 routine. Anyone else find a cheap product that beat their expensive stuff?
