Am I the only one who didn't know car haulers can only drive 11 hours a day by law?
I was tracking my car from Phoenix to Seattle and got mad when it sat at a yard in Redding for a full day. Went looking for answers and found out the DOT caps drivers at 11 hours behind the wheel in a 14 hour window, so the stop was required, not lazy. There was also a different driver who picked it up because of the hours rules, which nobody at the broker ever explained to me. Did any of you get told this upfront, or did you find out the same way I did?
