Turns out I was torquing Cannon plugs wrong for 8 years
Had a senior inspector pull me aside last month in the hangar at PDX and point out my torque wrench readings were off on every Cannon plug I'd done that week. I always used the same standard setting for the coupling nut, never thought about the shell size difference between 10 and 14 series. He made me look at the actual spec sheet for a small 16 pin and I felt like an idiot. How many of you actually check the torque value per connector model instead of just using muscle memory?
