My dollar store egg slicer took me 45 minutes to clean last night

I bought a cheap egg slicer from the discount bin for $2 and it took me almost an hour to scrub the egg residue out of every little wire because the thing is basically a one-use tool that falls apart in the dishwasher, has anyone else had to hand-wash a useless gadget for way too long?

45 minutes for two bucks... sounds like a solid deal to me @mason_barnes. That's like paying for a coffee and getting some fun in return. I'd call that a win honestly.
