Tried bargain brand trash bags vs name brand and saved $8
Picked up a box of 60 cheap trash bags at the dollar store for $3.50 and they tore open on me twice in one week. Went back for the name brand ones on sale for $11 and havent had a single rip since.

Nah man you're looking at it wrong. $11 for name brand bags is still a rip off when you can get off brand ones at Walmart for like $5 and they hold up fine. Sounds like you just grabbed the crappiest dollar store ones possible instead of the decent mid-tier cheap ones.
