Unpopular opinion: thrift store prices at the Goodwill on 7th Ave are getting out of hand
Walked into the Goodwill on 7th Ave last Saturday and saw a used Crock Pot with no lid marked $18, when a brand new one at Walmart is $20. Half of me says thrift stores are just trying to stay open with rising rent and wages, and the other half says a used candle holder should never cost more than $3. Where do you draw the line between supporting a good cause and getting ripped off on stuff people literally donated for free?
