Try resting brisket in a cooler, not the counter

After 4 failed briskets that dried out during the rest, I threw one in a cheap Coleman cooler wrapped in towels for 2 hours last Saturday. The temp only dropped 8 degrees and the slices actually squished when I squeezed them. Anyone else find the cooler trick beats a warming drawer or am I just adding extra steps?

Trust the cooler, it's the move. My briskets stopped drying out the second I stopped resting them on the counter. That little extra insulation does all the heavy lifting.
