Just wasted $60 on a chain whip that snapped first use

Picked up a no-name brand chain whip off Amazon for cheap because I was being lazy and didn't want to drive to the shop. First time using it to break a chain on a 10-speed cassette, the handle just twisted clean off in my hand. Should've just spent the $35 on the Park Tool one down at REI, anyone else had bad luck with those generic multi-tools online?

Used to buy cheap Amazon tools all the time thinking a tool is a tool, but after a chain tool snapped in half on me I learned my lesson. Park Tool stuff is expensive for a reason, they actually hold up when you need them to.
