I see a lot of people in my town using their bike lock wrong, and it makes the lock almost useless.

I read a bike safety blog that said over half of stolen bikes are locked up wrong. People will just lock the front wheel to a pole, which takes two seconds to remove. Or they use a cheap cable lock on a nice bike, which you can cut with basic tools from any store. The lock needs to go through the frame and the back wheel, around something solid that can't be lifted off. It seems obvious, but you see it everywhere.

Yeah, I used to just lock the front wheel too... this post makes me want to go check my bike right now.
