Serious question, the guy at my bike shop in Dayton told me my chain lube was the problem and he was not wrong
I stopped by after my drivetrain started making a weird clicking sound around mile 8 of my route to school, and he took one look and said I was using way too much lube and it was trapping grit. Wiped the chain down and switched to one small drop per link, and the noise quit after about 2 rides. Has anyone else been over-lubing without knowing it?
