Talked to an old farrier at a swap meet, changed how I think about my anvil
He said he never bought a new anvil in 40 years, just fixed up ones everyone else gave up on, and that made me look at my own dents and scars different. How many of you still use an anvil that's been through a few owners, or do you run something new?
