Shoutout to the guy at the Columbus game store who talked me out of Gloomhaven
I walked in ready to drop $140 on Gloomhaven after hearing everyone online say it was the best game ever, and the owner asked how often my group actually meets, which is maybe once a month. He pointed me toward a $40 game we could finish in one sitting, and we've played it 9 times since March. Am I the only one who thinks the big heavy games get pushed way harder than they should?
