Wrote off Uno as a kids game for 15 years, then my sister-in-law flipped the whole table on house rules
I always figured Uno was just a way to keep kids busy at cookouts, nothing a real game night would touch. Then my wife's family invited us over in Amarillo two weeks ago and we played for 3 hours straight, and they play it mean, stacking draw cards, jumping in out of turn, the whole thing. Half of me thinks house rules like that ruin a game, the other half thinks the official rules are what ruined Uno in the first place. Where do you all land, do you house rule it or play it straight?
