Question about the guy in Rochester who said to stop soaking my brick before laying
He told me dry brick pulls the mortar water too fast in July, and after redoing a 12 foot wall in Rochester with dry brick and a wetter mix, the joints set up way cleaner than my soaked ones, so now I'm wondering if soaking was ever doing what I thought or if I just got lucky on cooler jobs.
