Warning: I was stripping coax with my knife for years until a guy in Boise showed me his tool
He pulled out a simple coax stripper and did a perfect prep in about two seconds, no nicked center conductor. I bought one the next day and my signal levels are way more consistent now. What other basic tools did you all switch to that made a big difference?

Honestly I used to think a knife was fine for everything. But then I tried a proper vegetable peeler on some potatoes. Tbh it was way faster and way safer, I almost never cut myself now. That one thing totally changed how I do stuff in the kitchen. I just grab the right tool without even thinking about it anymore. It sounds small but it makes a real difference.
