Finally switched from compressed air to a blower for sensor cleaning

Finally switched from compressed air to a blower for sensor cleaning. Used canned air for years on mirrorless sensors. Took a gamble on one bad can, left residue all over the IBIS unit. Spent 2 hours in Portland last month swabbing it out. Bought a decent electric blower for $45 and it's honestly night and day. No propellant, no cold spray, just steady airflow. Anyone else made the swap and noticed fewer repeat cleanings?

Did you ever get that weird oily film on the glass from the canned stuff too? I had the same thing happen with mine, and since I switched to a blower, I haven't had to touch the sensor with a swab in almost a year.
