Tried to lowball a seller in Hamilton by $40k and he just stopped answering me
Saw a semi in Hamilton listed at $729k last month, so I offered $689k thinking he would at least counter. He never replied, and the listing went pending two weeks later at full price, which stung more than I expected. Did I mess up by going too low right out of the gate, or was he just never going to budge anyway?
