Warning: I thought the no-jump-start rule at the depot in Sudbury was overkill until my old battery sat for a week
For years I figured the rule about not jump-starting other people's bikes from the shop charger was just some leftover policy nobody could explain. Last month a guy rolled in with a dead battery on a 2016 Shadow and I hooked my booster pack up anyway. The charger kicked on fine but the second he hit the starter, both batteries were flat and his regulator was cooked. Now I want to know how many of you have a hard rule about who you will and will not boost.
