I laughed at my neighbor's pool noodle trick for door dings in my garage, then my door got a new dent
Took a $2 pool noodle, sliced it down the middle, and wrapped it around the edge of my garage door frame in about 10 minutes, and it stopped the dent problem cold after I'd already lost a paint chip by the third month in this house, so now I'm wondering what other cheap hardware store fixes I've been rolling my eyes at.
