TIL a guy at the Albany swap meet told me my car cover was doing more harm than good
I had my Chevelle under a cheap blue tarp in the driveway for about two seasons, thinking I was protecting it. He walked by, touched the roof, and said "your clear coat is sweating under there, that tarp traps moisture." Sure enough I pulled it off and found cloudy spots across the hood. Switched to a breathable cover and a cheap box fan rigged to blow air under the carport, and the spots quit coming back. Now I'm wondering if I should've just left it uncovered in that spot all along, what do you all do for outdoor parking in humid areas?
