Tbh I bought a cheap miter saw stand for a quick deck job and it cost me a full day

It was a $90 stand that wobbled so bad I had to recut half the boards, which wasted about 8 hours. Honestly, I should have just rented a solid one or used my sawhorses. Do you guys ever risk it with budget gear for small jobs, or is it always a trap?

Honestly, sometimes the cheap stuff works out fine though, right? I've gotten lucky with a few no-name tools that saved me cash for a one-off project.
