The dented can shelf at my Food Lion in Greensboro is basically free dinner
Stopped in last Tuesday for bread and noticed a whole end cap of dinged up cans marked down to 50 cents each. I grabbed 6 cans of chickpeas and 4 cans of diced tomatoes for under $6 total, and the cashier said they restock that shelf every morning around 8. Made a huge pot of chickpea curry with rice that fed me lunch for 5 days. Does anyone know if other chains do the same thing or is it just certain stores?
