Why does nobody talk about how wrong your weight belt can sit until someone films you
Honestly I did 3 years of shallow harbor work in San Diego before a buddy filmed me on a pipeline job last week and I saw my belt was riding up near my ribs the whole time. I kept blaming my back pain on the current, but turns out all that weight was sitting in the wrong spot and I was fighting it with every step on the bottom. My tender just laughed and said he thought I knew, which stung a little. Swapped it lower on my hips for the next two dives and the difference was wild, way less effort just walking the mud. Now I want to know if anyone else got told by a camera instead of a person. What is the dumbest thing you found out about your own setup from a video?
