Just finished a 10,000 square foot pour in two days and my back is still talking to me about it.
It was for a warehouse slab in Boise. The crew and I hit that number and I was honestly shocked we pulled it off without a single cold joint. We used three ride-on trowels and worked straight through. Some guys say pushing that hard just burns out your team and the quality suffers. Others argue that with the right planning and enough hands, big fast pours are the only way to make real money on commercial jobs. What's the biggest single pour you've ever done in a day, and do you think speed ever hurts the finish?

Nah, that thing's a breeze compared to hand floating. Let the machine do the work.

Why do we keep making tools that just trade one kind of pain for another?
