Stamped concrete touchup after 3 years, the color match did not go as planned

Last week I finally got around to fixing a cracked section of stamped patio I poured back in fall of 2021. I still had a half bag of the same integral color from the original mix, figured it would be a direct match. Nope. The sun had faded the old stuff so much that my patch stuck out like a sore thumb. I ended up having to mix three different liquid releases and do a couple test boards before I got close. Anyone else run into this with older stamped work? How do you handle matching faded color on repair jobs?

Three years ain't that bad, just use a sealer and call it a day.
