Tried a laser level on a driveway pour, never going back to strings
Last Thursday we did a 60 foot driveway in Ohio and I decided to run my cheap rotary laser instead of pulling strings. Setup took maybe 15 extra minutes but my grade was dead on across the whole pour, no sagging string lines to second guess. My finisher kept asking if I checked the laser again because it looked too flat, but that was the point. The only issue was dust kicking up and covering the receiver lens, so I wrapped it in a clear bag. Anybody else run lasers for small residential slabs or am I overthinking it for 2 car garages?
