Rant: The moon landing footage quality got worse before it got better, and that's suspicious

I grew up watching the 1969 broadcasts on a tiny CRT and they looked crisp enough. Now in 2024, I pull up the same clips on a 4K monitor and they look like VHS from a pawn shop. They claim it's just film degradation from storage or re-mastering limits. But here's what gets me: we've sent rovers to Mars sending back gigapixel images, yet our best NASA archive tech can't clean up 16mm footage from 55 years ago? That gap doesn't sit right. Even the 1970s Skylab photos look sharper than Apollo 11. I'm not saying it was faked, but the deliberate downgrade over time feels like someone wants us to forget details. Has anyone else compared the 1990s DVD release to the 2009 remaster and noticed the rocks in the background literally shift position? Or is my old projector just finally dying?

Wait, you're saying the rocks move between the DVD and the remaster? Like, actual boulders just picking up and relocating? That's wild if true, I've never heard anybody mention that before. I've got the 2009 set and I've compared it to some old bootlegs, but I always figured the differences were just brightness and color grading, not stuff shifting around. If the background geology is changing between releases, that's not a film degradation issue, that's someone actively messing with the frames. I'd love to see your side by side screenshots, because that would blow the whole "we just cleaned it up" story wide open. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but rocks don't move unless somebody moved them.
