A stylist in Nashville showed me point cutting vs slide cutting on the same head of hair and the difference was night and day
I'd been slide cutting everything for 3 months and wondering why my layers looked choppy. She did point cutting on one side, slide cutting on the other, and the point cut side had way softer movement with less frayed ends. Anyone else switch their default technique based on hair texture or do you just stay with one?
