Always swore by cheap brushes, then I borrowed a $90 one

I've been doing hair for 8 years now and thought expensive brushes were a total scam. Last month my client brought in her own Mason Pearson from home, asked me to use it on her fine hair. Holy crap, the difference in her blowout was unreal, zero frizz and so much shine. I still wont pay that much but I did buy a $45 knockoff and it works pretty well. Has anyone else had their mind changed on a tool they thought was overhyped?
