Rant: My jib angle was off by 2 degrees for a full Lincoln, Nebraska project
I set up a 30 ton Grove for a 3 day steel job near downtown Lincoln and trusted my gut on the boom angle instead of checking the level once the outriggers sank a bit. The last beam was sitting 4 inches off the mark and I had to re-sling everything in the heat, which cost the crew an hour and a half. Has anyone else had a small setup mistake turn into a bigger headache than it should have?
