Question about why nobody lists the actual measurements in furniture ads anymore
I spent two hours scrolling Facebook Marketplace in Phoenix looking for a used couch and maybe 1 in 10 listings had any dimensions at all. Back when I was broke in 2011, Craigslist ads always had stuff like "84 inches long, 36 deep" and a photo of the tape measure laid across it, that was just how people did it. Now it's "comfy couch, great condition, pick up only" and you have to message five people just to find out if it'll fit through your door. I drove 40 minutes to look at a sectional that turned out to be 9 feet long when my wall is 7 feet. Is there some trick to getting sellers to post measurements or do I just have to ask everyone?
