Wrote 7 prompts in one Tuesday night at a diner in Tulsa and 5 of them worked
Last Tuesday I camped out at a diner on 11th with a notebook because my apartment was too quiet and I knocked out 7 prompts in about 3 hours. The weird part was the 2 that flopped were the ones I planned out at home, and the 5 keepers all came from stuff I saw in the diner, like the guy arguing with the jukebox and the waitress calling everyone hon. Do you get better prompts from random real life stuff or from sitting down and forcing yourself to write?
